Our Story

Robomodix is a small upstart company based in Wilsonville, Oregon founded by Will Huff, a 25 year motion picture effects veteran. We are committed to creating uniquely designed, interactive and engaging social robots. Using methods and materials developed in the film industry, we separate ourselves from other comparative companies.

At Robomodix, we believe the ALAN line of robots are a evolutionary step towards modern day social robots. They are designed to be interactive, engaging and responsive. They can communicate through speech synthesis, voice recognition and motion tracking and take on tasks such as object recognition, data acquisition, query and chatbot.

Current development of ALAN line includes, a full bodies and evolving advancements in emotion and expressions. Through a process developed at Robomodix, our robots will learn to emote through mimicking human faces with motion capture.
