This past week has been a whirlwind of information, changes to daily life and our business that serves yours. Our hearts go out to you as you focus on making sure you family is safe and being well cared for.
We continue to hear about mandatory closures of schools and businesses across the country. Fortunately, we have also been hearing that due to the nature of Custom Electronics Design and Installation Service Providers businesses such as ours, where we are often working with security, surveillance and internet / networking, we are being considered among the "necessary businesses" that are (so far) being allowed to remain open and continue serving those in need.
Here are a list of some of the types of things our industry is hearing from our clients:
"I never realized how quiet it is in my house, can I get some information on house-wide speakers for when the panic dies down?
Remember that theater I was talking to you about adding?Since we are stuck at home, we would like to see if we can get it installed so we have something to do while we are here.
It's been so long since we have used the theater, I am just now finding out it doesn't work! Can you fix it?
Can I just buy a sound bar? I can install it myself.
I have some new tech gear that I have not had a chance to set up, and may not even know how - now that I have some time on my hands to enjoy it, can you help me figure it out?
Who knows how long this (name your technology) hasn't been working, this is my vacation home I'm only here to get away from all the infected people. Can you send someone out?"
We know the next couple of weeks are unclear. However, we will remain open and continue serving our client family both in person and remotely, unless forced to do otherwise.
